Dysport® is a purified protein that, when injected into wrinkle-causing muscles, temporarily softens facial lines leading to a more youthful look
It is most commonly used to treat frown lines, forehead lines and lines around the eyes “crows feet.” It can also be used to treat gummy smile, an over-active masseter muscle (that leads to clenching and grinding of the teeth), drooping of the corners of the mouth and “bunny lines” in the bridge of the nose
It takes 3-12 days to work and you can expect the results to last up to 3 months
A consultation must be undertaken with Dr Rachel Ward before any treatment, to determine your areas of concern and what outcomes you can expect from the treatment. During this appointment photos will be taken, your exisiting skin condition discussed and you may be advised to have a consultation with a beauty therapist to discuss improving the condition of your skin. A treatment plan and quote will be prepared for you, and the risks and benefits discussed in detail. Once you are fully informed you can decide if you would like to proceed
